Taller than the Trees premiere!

Good news from the land of film festivals. Megan Mylan’s Taller than the Trees (me, editor) will be screening at the Nantucket Film Festival and AFIDOCs in L.A. It’s a short, verité piece that looks at Japan’s rapidly ageing society and the obligation children feel to take care of their parents. We follow one middle-aged man, a harried advertising executive as juggles work, child-rearing and elder care. His life is a blur of meals and trains, but he always find the time and tenderness for his aged mother.
